At this time of year, it always gets a bit hairy for couples attempting to buy each other Christmas gifts.
I'm always thinking will he like it? What's something that he will really use? Will he appreciate the effort even if he doesn't like it?
I'm sure I'm no different than any other woman attempting to buy for the guy in her life.
What I have learned, however, is that some people are just never going to be happy or satisfied no matter how much you go outta your way to please them. For these peeps, I must say I throw up the PEACE sign. Two fangers.
But what is really nice is when you buy a person a gift and you can see in their reaction that they really appreciate it. They may rush to try it out or try it on.
I've gotten the gas face for a few gifts over the years and now looking back I'm wondering why did I care sooooo much.
Whateva!
Any who.
I'm a bit excited about Christmas this year. I'm not buying a bunch of gifts because my pockets only have a few coins. LOLOLOLOL
And me and the guy I'm dating have decided we are going for the small stuff because of the recession and cash flow shortage. :)
Do you think that couples should say something upfront so that one person doesn't end up buying the other a big ole gift and getting a hankerchief? LOLOLOL Or is it really the thought that counts? Tell me how you would feel if he spent $50 and you spent $200.
