Guys Left Note In Door, Business Card On Car

One day after coming home from work, I noticed an envelope in the door. I opened it and it was a note from a guy who had seen me while I was walking my dog.

The letter said hello and that the writer would like to get to know me. He also said that, if possible, could I meet him at the park with my dog because he, too, was a dog owner.

I can't lie. It was nice that someone took the time to write a note and put it in my door and sorta asked me out on a date with my dog. After all, Darlene and Carmen Electra are a package deal. If you don't like my dog, well, you don't like me. :)

But I didn't show up at the dog park. I had a good idea of who the guy and his dog may be and ummmm, let's just say, not my type.

I've seen this guy in my community since and recently I've seen him walking with who I believe is his love interest. He didn't hound me and I'm really happy he didn't because I really don't like to hurt anybody's feelings.

Any who.

Another guy left a business card on my car recently. The aforementioned note was left in the summer.

I can pinpoint the exact time he left it. It was about 2:15 a.m. Sunday. I was in a comma, I mean, I was sleep. Whew, I was sleeping really hard and all of sudden I hear Carmen barking like never before.

I jump out the bed, grab my robe and rush down the steps to see what the ruckus is all about. She is on her hind legs looking out the window. I look out the window and don't see a thing sooooooo I hand her a treat and say, "Good Girl!"

When I was on my way out the door for church that Sunday morning, I see three business cards stuck in the window of the driver's side of my car.

Hmmmm, I think. That had to be what she was barking about. Somebody left something on my car. I look at the card and it doesn't have a name but says something like a loss prevention specialist and investigator. Whatda? Whatda? Whatda?

I call the number, and no I didn't block my number. I didn't get an answer.
I call the number again and a guy answers. He tells me that he met me while I was walking my dog one day and he was fixing his car. He said he told me that he was going to leave me a business card.

Heck, I don't remember. I mean really I don't reco-member. LOLOLOL

He tells me that he didn't have his name on his business card because he repos cars! OOOOOOK but you are not repoin' my car so why not leave a name with the card.

Later, that night he called me back and I didn't answer. I think he is just interested in finding out my situation and if I would possibly be interested, but I'm creeped out!

And will soon be making a trip to the gun range.

Has anyone ever left a note on a car or in your door? How did it make you feel? Tell me.

  1. You should probably stop washing your car so much. No one will lean up against it to leave a note if they think they will get dirty
