Carmen is a bitch.
Whenever a man steps foot in my home, she is doing everything possible to get their affection -- sashayin' across the floor, being extremely affectionate, and even flipping on her back for a belly rub.
My dog likes when men pay her attention, and it shows. I love Carmen Electra because she is the sweetest dog ever, but her look-at-me-behavior reminds me of some of the women I see when I am in a social setting.
Some women get up to go to the restroom. Some increase the volume on their voice. Some walk, with a lil extra-oh-yea, you-see-me, I-got-it in her step, across the floor. Some show a lil piyow! (extra cleavage) or wear are-there-any-room-in-those-jeans that Ginuwine sings about.
Oh schucks, I'm guilty of the tight jeans offense.
Anywho, all of this is done to get a guy to look.

When I see this type of behavior, I think of Carmen. If I'm in a really silly mood, I might think and sometimes even say "work it," or "gone girl."
But shouldn't women get that attention we crave effortlessly.
I'm not saying don't practice good hygiene, wear clean clothes, comb your hair and be well put together. Ta Dah!!!
But we shouldn't have to jump up and down in the crowd shouting, "Ovah here, look at me, you see me?"
If a woman is trying, and I mean really trying, I'm reminded of that bitch at home.
Yes. This a response in the affirmative to your question, "...shouldn't women get that attention we crave effortlessly?" A women who truly turns me on does so effortlessly. It is truly a piece of art to me, the female who effortlessly holds my attention hostage. I love to see women who are well kept and I dont mean physically. I dont confine my tastes to purely physical or sexual connotations. I enjoy the whole being that is a truly attractive women. Her walk, her talk, the way she utilizes her verbage in conversation, the pause she may use when making a point, her ability to make and hold your eye contact, when she asks questions without appearing to be nosey, and the comfort she can instill upon you will her reassuring smile. I love these things about truly attractive women.
ReplyDeleteI do not, or better yet, can not stand women who TRY to be attractive. I have been told I am 'picky' when it comes to women. More often than not, this assertation came from women who TRIED to get my attention and could not illicit a morsel of attentiveness from me. True beauty in a person is not only from within, but it is also from how one chooses to display that beauty. Those who have it, need not TRY to show others. It is transparent and easy to see, making them all the more attractive to the opposite sex...or same sex (it is 2009 LOL!).
